About the original
Baltic launched its Micro-Rotor MR01 in October 2021 as its smallest and most classical watch. The 36 mm dress watch has the look of 1930s gentlemen's watches, and Baltic's own page calls it its interpretation of the classic dress watch. It is now sold on Baltic's site as the MR Classic.
The dial has applied Breguet numerals, leaf-shaped hands, a railroad minute track and a guilloche small seconds at 7 o'clock. The steel case is 36 mm wide and 44 mm lug to lug, with a polished bezel and lugs and brushed sides. A Hangzhou micro-rotor automatic keeps the watch to 9.9 mm thick with the glass.
