About the original
Willy Breitling designed the Top Time in the 1960s as an 'unconventional chronograph' for a young, speed-minded public. In Thunderball (1965) Sean Connery wore a Top Time ref. 2002.
The current B01 Top Time editions have contrasting squircle sub-dials and a tachymeter scale, around the Breitling 01 chronograph movement. The page for the Triumph edition also points to mushroom pushers and a 'Zorro' bowtie dial motif drawn from the 1960s watches.
