About the original
DOXA launched the SUB concept in 1967, a diver's watch built around a unidirectional bezel with a dual scale for dive time and depth, and an orange dial for readability underwater. The current SUB 300 keeps that layout in a 42.5 mm stainless steel case rated to 300 m, with a COSC-certified automatic movement. Eight colour versions were offered from 2020.
The design centres on a cushion-shaped steel case, a unidirectional bezel used for no-decompression dive planning, an oversized minute hand, and white luminous indices. The bracelet is the steel 'beads of rice' type. The dial colour changes by reference, and the orange Professional is the one described here.
