About the original
Longines says the Conquest was the first Longines watch line to have its name protected by the Swiss Federal Intellectual Property Office, in 1954. The Conquest Heritage is described as a tribute to the first Conquest models launched over 70 years ago, mixing 1950s style with modern watchmaking.
The dial is described as almost a mirror image of the original Conquest, whose case was 35 mm; the new versions come in 38 mm and 40 mm. The hands are dauphine-style with lume inlays and the hour markers are applied. The case back carries a gold medallion with a fish.
