About the original
Omega introduced the Seamaster 300 in 1957 as its first professional divers' watch, and it was the first Omega with a rotating bezel to time dives. It sat in the same 1957 trio as the Speedmaster and Railmaster.
The current heritage version, reference 234.30.41.21.01.001, arrived in 2021. It is a 41 mm steel case on a steel bracelet, with a black dial and a black anodised aluminium bezel, 300 m of water resistance and the Master Chronometer calibre 8912. It has no date. The dial uses open Arabic numerals, which nod to 1960s models, and a lollipop seconds hand, and the crown is conical.
