Rolex's Day-Date 228236, as listed on Rolex's own page for reference -0018, is a 40 mm platinum case with a fluted bezel, a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date, and the in-house 3255 calibre with about 70 hours of power reserve. The day and the date are shown in apertures with a rapid-setting mechanism.
The Rolex capture does not describe the dial or the bracelet. An aBlogtoWatch review of the 40 mm Day-Date family (reference 228239, in white gold) describes the President bracelet, a three-link design with rounded links, and a day window at 12 o'clock that shows the full day name. The reference 228239 is a sibling, and its text is used here only for the family design, not for any spec of 228236.
