About the original
Rolex's Cosmograph Daytona is a steel chronograph. Rolex's own page for reference 126500LN, as captured, lists a 40 mm Oystersteel case, a black monobloc Cerachrom bezel with a moulded tachymetric scale, a chronograph driven by the centre seconds hand, and the in-house 4131 calibre with about 72 hours of power reserve.
A Japanese review (piazo, June 2025) describes the 126500LN as the successor to the 116500LN, with screw-down chronograph pushers, sharper-cut lugs and an Oyster bracelet. Rolex's own page is the source for the bezel, the movement and the chronograph description above.
