About the original
TAG Heuer's Monaco is a square-cased chronograph that first appeared in 1969. In 2019, for the model's 50th anniversary, TAG Heuer added the first Monaco with its own Calibre Heuer 02 movement.
This version keeps the 39 mm square case, the blue dial with silver sub-dials at 3 and 9 and red accents on the hands, and a blue alligator strap. The movement has a power reserve of 80 hours and a small running-seconds indicator above the date at 6 o'clock.
