About the original
Tissot says the PRX is a tribute to the original PRX from 1978, with a case shape from that year. The PRX Chronograph adds a 42 mm case, the Valjoux A05.H31 automatic movement and the classic 3-6-9 chronograph layout to the integrated-bracelet design.
The case is stainless steel with a sapphire crystal, water resistance of 10 bar and a see-through caseback. The first reference listed here has a green gradient dial and the second a blue gradient dial; the description text on Tissot's page for the green one still calls it a 'reverse panda' dial, which does not match the page's own data or product image.
