Tudor Submariner 7021 homages
1 homage of the Tudor Submariner 7021 compared side by side with the original. It costs about $219 at official stores.
About the original
Tudor introduced the second-generation Submariner in 1969, in two models: the time-only 7016 and the 7021 with a date window. Both had square luminous hour markers and the angular 'snowflake' hands that give the design its name. The snowflake design stayed in production until about 1981.
The 7021 uses the automatic ETA calibre 2484 and has a magnifying bubble over the date. Dealers list blue-dial versions with a blue bezel insert and a roulette date wheel. This record is a vintage reference: Tudor sells no faithful current version.
