Reviewers liked the textured gradient dial, the sandblasted case, the compact 38 mm size and the slim 10.5 mm height, and the standard 20 mm lug width that suits many straps. They found a screw-down crown and case back, a domed sapphire crystal and a smooth sweeping-seconds quartz movement that can be stopped for setting. The crown and the strap buckle carry no logo.
One reviewer measured about 37.8 mm across and 49 mm lug to lug, longer than the brand's 47.5 mm; the others read out the brand's figures. One reviewer found the sandblasted finish hides fingerprints and scratches and the short lug to lug sits comfortably under a cuff, though still a little pronounced on a 6.5 inch wrist. One reviewer found the strap acceptable and another did not like the orange colour. The reviewers describe the watch as a field watch in the style of the Hamilton Khaki Field, with a quartz movement in place of the original's hand-wound one.
