Reviewers found the ML25 compact and light, about 110 g on the bracelet as sized, with a slim case and a short lug to lug. They liked the crisp bezel, the evenly applied BGW9 lume and the push-pin bracelet, which is easy to size. Reviewers who compared it with the Sinn 104 point out that the bezel is unidirectional where the original's turns both ways.
The polished versions are criticised for scratching easily, and one reviewer's scratch test found little benefit from the hardening treatment. Bezel play is described differently: three reviewers felt a little back play, two found none and one found the action inconsistent. Two reviewers who measured the case body without the bezel found it about 38 mm, against the brand's 39.5 mm bezel diameter. One reviewer dislikes how the polished hands change colour in different light. One reviewer also found the push-pin bracelet comfortable with a nicely rounded underside, but a little jangly and without quick-release bars.
