Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score
Lug-to-lug is neither published nor measured for one of the two watches, so there is not enough data to score.

Design signatures— / 40
- Dial with horizontal teak-deck lines10 / 10Fine horizontal lines on the blue, green, black and white dials in the official images. The sky blue dial is a smooth gradient.
- Arrow-tipped hour hand8 / 8Arrow-tipped hour hand in the official images, on every colourway.
- Faceted, polished applied hour markers3 / 6Lume-filled, bevelled bar markers in the official images. The facets are not clearly visible.
- Date window at 6 with a polished border0 / 6The date window sits at 3 o'clock in every official image. The signature calls for a date at 6.
- Polished, slightly domed bezel2 / 4A polished steel ring frames the dial in the official images. It is not a separate bezel with a clear dome.
- Integrated bracelet with brushed and polished links3 / 6Three-link steel bracelet with brushed centre links and polished edges. The case-to-bracelet join looks like a conventional lug join in the images.
Functions and materials— / 20
- Complications8 / 8Date display at 3, the same complication the original record lists.
- Bezel action2 / 4The brand lists no bezel action and the bezel looks fixed in the images. The original record has no bezel-action entry, so the comparison is partial.
- Case and bezel materials2 / 4Brand lists 316L stainless steel. The original record has no case material entry, so the comparison is partial.
- Crystal shape and date window2 / 4Brand lists sapphire with anti-reflective and hard coating. The original record has no crystal entry, and the date window at 3 differs from the 6 o'clock date in the signature.

What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 7 reviews we read or watched.
Seven hands-on reviews were read. Reviewers rate the case finishing as good for the price and say the look is a fair approximation of the original; three said it wears like a 41 mm watch (their calipers gave 40.8 to 41 mm against the brand's 40) with a short lug-to-lug of about 46 to 47.6 mm. One praised the look and comfort, and one called the sky blue gradient dial striking.
The bracelet is the weak point for several: the butterfly clasp has no micro-adjust, one found it cheap and rattly, and three had trouble or found it sharp when resizing the screw-link bracelet (another unit had push pins). Opinions on the lume are split: one reviewer found it brighter and longer-lasting than earlier Pagani Design models, others found it weak, with the hands vanishing quickly. Two reviewers found no anti-reflective effect on the sapphire; another said the coating works well. Five reviewers name a Seiko NH35-type calibre and one read a Miyota 8215 through the display back, which matches the brand's listing.
Good
- Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment, per the brand listing
- Horizontal-line dials in blue, green, black and white; the sky blue dial is smooth
- Lume that reviewers found usable
- Automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, per the brand listing
- Steel bracelet on every colourway; leather strap on all but the green dial
Less good
- One reviewer found the dial hard to read at some angles
- The movement is disputed: the brand lists a Miyota 8215, five reviewers name an NH35-type calibre and one read an 8215
- Screw-link bracelet hard to resize and sharp, per three reviewers; butterfly clasp has no micro-adjust
- Lume judged weak by several reviewers (one found it improved)
Known quality issues
Each reported by at least two independent sources.
- The screw-link bracelet was hard to resize: one reviewer broke a screwdriver tip and needed a replacement bracelet from the seller, another struggled with several screws, and a third found the bracelet finishing sharp and hard to adjust. Other units came with push pins instead.
