What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 2 reviews we read or watched, 1 of them with a watch supplied by the brand.
Both reviewers who tested the watch rate the look and the build well. They describe a 120-click unidirectional bezel with a ceramic insert and firm, well-aligned clicks, a screw-down case back and a finely finished steel bracelet with solid end links. One also describes substantial crown guards around a small crown.
Both criticise the clasp, which has no micro-adjustment. Both call the 42 mm case with a lug-to-lug close to 50 mm big: one says it is a little long for some wrists, the other prefers it at this size. One reviewer found a noticeable stutter in the Miyota 8215 second hand and quickly fading hand lume on his unit; the other found the movement noisy but accurate enough.
Good
- Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment
- Bezel action described as firm with good alignment
- Steel bracelet with solid end links and good finishing
- Screw-down case back
Less good
- Clasp has no micro-adjustment
- 42 mm case with a lug-to-lug near 50 mm is long for some wrists
- Miyota 8215 does not hack and is noisy in one review
