What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 4 reviews we read or watched.
Reviewers like the dial: the polished numerals, the fine minute track and the sunburst blue, white or olive green look more expensive than the price. All four say the case is a good everyday size, about 44 to 45 mm lug to lug and 13 mm thick, and all four name a Seiko NH35 rather than the Miyota 8215 the brand states. Two report strong distortion and glare from the domed sapphire, which one says could use more anti-reflective coating; one found the coating present and one tested the crystal as sapphire. The bracelet drew different views: one calls it light and cheap-feeling, three call it well finished, with an accessible clasp adjustment on two units.
The lume is the main disagreement: two reviewers call it the weakest part of the watch (it fades quickly), while one finds it better than usual for a Pagani Design and readable all night. One reviewer showed hacking and hand winding working on his unit.
Good
- Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment
- Applied Arabic numerals at all twelve hours and a fine minute track
- Compact: about 38 mm across and 43 to 44.7 mm lug to lug
- Four colourways, including olive green and sunburst blue
- Time-only dial with no date window
- Hacking and hand winding worked on one reviewer's unit; the crystal tested as sapphire for that reviewer
Less good
- Domed crystal gives strong distortion and glare, per two reviews
- Bracelet and clasp are called light and basic by one reviewer
- Thick at about 13 mm for a 38 mm watch
- Water resistance is given only in feet and psi on the page
- The brand and the reviewers name different movements
- Lume fades quickly and is called the weakest part by two reviewers (one finds it better than usual)
Known quality issues
Each reported by at least two independent sources.
- Two reviewers report strong distortion and glare from the domed sapphire crystal.
