What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 8 reviews we read or watched.
Reviewers like the look and the value: the dial layout, the tachymeter ring and the dome sapphire crystal are praised. Reviewers describe the watch as a Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz chronograph with a snap-back reset rather than an automatic. Four measure the case at about 40 to 41 mm, a little more than the brand's 39 mm, and two say the brand measured the bezel. Six give a lug-to-lug between 45.7 and 47.2 mm and thickness of about 12.8 to 13 mm, below the brand's 13.5 mm. One reviewer notes that the watch has no date. Most reviewers found the lume weak or short-lived, one found it decent. Two noted there is no date and one wished for one, and two found the butterfly clasp stiff or awkward to close on their sample. One reviewer noted the second hand of the chronograph sat slightly off its mark on his unit. No fault was reported by two or more reviewers.
Good
- Tonneau case with tachymeter ring and registers at 9, 3 and 6, close to the original's look
- Domed sapphire crystal, per reviews
- White panda colourway plus black, blue, sky blue and yellow
- Perforated leather strap on three variants
- Reviewers measure a lug-to-lug of about 46 to 47 mm
Less good
- Quartz chronograph, not an automatic like the original
- No date window
- Perforated strap on only three of eight variants
- The brand's 39 mm case width is smaller than three reviewers' measurements
- The brand gives water resistance only in feet and bar
- Lume is weak and fades quickly, per four reviewers
Known quality issues
Each reported by at least two independent sources.
- Four reviewers found the lume weak or short-lived: one said it was gone within five minutes and another said the indices fade immediately and only the hands last. One other reviewer found it decent.
