Reviewers found the watch light and comfortable at 75 to 76 g on its strap, with a matte dial, a matte ceramic insert, thick applied indices and strong lume. Six reviewers measured or stated a lug-to-lug of 49 to 50.3 mm. The titanium buckle and the nylon band were described as decent for the price, although one reviewer called the band thicker and cruder than the original's, and with the hook-and-loop closure it sits at about 15 mm on the wrist.
The main complaint is the bezel on earlier units. Three reviewers found play or a gritty action on V1 and V2 watches, while one reviewer who tested a V4 unit found no back play and a well-aligned bezel, and another V4 reviewer found the action slightly gritty and counted 48 clicks on a 60-minute scale. Reviewers who named the movement found an NH35 type with a ghost date position, which they accepted at this price, and one found the titanium crown stiff to unscrew. Reviewers describe the design as following the Tudor Pelagos FXD, with a basic movement in place of the original's in-house one.
