Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score
Lug-to-lug is neither published nor measured for one of the two watches, so there is not enough data to score.
Proportions— / 30
- Case diameter10 / 120.5 mm apart
- Lug-to-lug0 / 8Not published, left out
- Thickness4.5 / 60.8 mm apart
- Lug width4 / 4Same size
Design signatures— / 40
- Angular cushion-shaped steel case5 / 10Black PVD tonneau case with rounded flanks and a wide cushion outline in the official images; the faceting is softer than the original's angular case.
- Unidirectional bezel with dive-time and depth scales12 / 12Outer bezel with orange depth numerals in feet (60 FEET 150 140 ...) over a fixed inner ring with minute ticks and numerals; the brand lists a 120 click unidirectional bezel.
- Oversized luminous minute hand6 / 6Broad minute hand with a long lume strip on every colourway (orange on the black, dark blue and white dials, black on the orange, yellow and coral blue dials), clearly wider and longer than the hour hand.
- Helium release valve in the case side0 / 5No valve in the case side in the official images, and the brand lists none.
- Beads-of-rice steel bracelet2 / 4Black PVD mesh bracelet with a rectangular link pattern in the official images, plus a rubber strap option; not a beads-of-rice pattern.
- Flat sapphire crystal0 / 3The brand lists sapphire with AR coating and does not give the shape. One reviewer says double-domed with a blue-tinted AR coating, and the angled official shot shows a curved crystal edge, so it is not flat like the original's.
Functions and materials— / 20
- Complications4 / 8Date window at 3, as on the original, but no helium release valve.
- Bezel action4 / 4Unidirectional bezel, as on the original.
- Case and bezel materials2 / 4PVD-coated stainless steel case, against the original's plain 316L steel.
- Crystal shape and date window2 / 4Sapphire with AR coating and no cyclops, as on the original, but one reviewer describes the crystal as double-domed against the original's flat one.
