What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 2 reviews we read or watched.
Both reviewers praise the build and finishing, including the bracelet and the case, and say the value is strong for the price. Both found the split pins in the bracelet, instead of screws, odd on a watch sold as a premium line, and one says they add side-to-side play. Both noticed the hand lume differs slightly from the dial lume, though one calls the difference barely noticeable. One reviewer also notes that copying a Christopher Ward design will put some buyers off. The brand says current production has upgraded hand lume, so this may be fixed.
Good
- Sculpted lume indices and thick lume hands follow the original's look
- Sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel insert
- Compact 39 mm case with 47.5 mm lug-to-lug and downturned lugs, which both reviewers found fits well
- Finishing praised by both reviewers
- Sea-Gull ST2130 high-beat automatic with 200 m water resistance
Less good
- Bracelet links use split pins, not screws, according to two reviewers
- Lume on the hands is slightly different in shade from the dial, according to two reviewers (one calls it barely noticeable); the brand says current production has upgraded hand lume
- 316L steel, not titanium like the original
