What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 5 reviews we read or watched, 1 of them with a watch supplied by the brand.
Reviewers called the 39 mm case and 12 mm thickness a good fit for slim or average wrists, and found the case and bezel finishing good for the price. The bezel is unusual: it is bi-directional with 96 clicks and a muted, low click rather than the loud ratchet of a diver. Alignment varied. Two reviewers found it lined up with the 12 o'clock index, one found his sample off by a fraction of a click at every position, and another said a bi-directional bezel cannot be lined up perfectly.
The bracelet drew the most criticism: three links held by push pins and a plain stamped clasp. Two reviewers found play in the first end link and the pins, and two noted that the solid end links stick out past the lugs. Reviewers also named the mineral crystal as the main compromise.
Good
- Slim 12 mm, 39 mm case that suits smaller wrists
- Raised luminous plots in two lume versions
- Ceramic bezel with a muted, firm click, per reviewers
- Two lume versions and six dial and bezel combinations
- Low price for a 200 m diver
Less good
- Date window, which the vintage original does not have
- Bracelet with push pins and loose tolerances at the end links, per two reviewers
- End links extend past the lugs
- Mineral crystal rather than sapphire
- Bezel alignment off on one reviewer's sample
Known quality issues
Each reported by at least two independent sources.
- Two reviewers noted that the solid end links extend past the lug tips, so the watch is longer on the wrist than the quoted 47 mm lug to lug.
- Two reviewers found play in the first end link and the push pins of the bracelet, which rattles on the wrist.
