Longines Heritage Military homages

Longines says this watch is true to the lines of a timepiece designed for the British Royal Air Force, and that it drew on a 1940s model. That original was the 6B/159, a pilot's watch of 32.5 mm; the 2018 re-edition is 38.5 mm.

The dial is an off-white colour sprayed by hand with tiny black droplets to look aged, with blued hands, a large crown and a domed sapphire crystal. There is no date. Inside is an automatic movement with up to 72 hours of power reserve according to the maker.
