Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score
Lug-to-lug is neither published nor measured for one of the two watches, so there is not enough data to score.

What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 3 reviews we read or watched.
Reviewers liked the cream freckles dial, the baked-blue hands against it, the finishing of the case and the large, well-finished crown. They found the 38.5 mm case with slim downturned lugs comfortable, at about 47 mm lug to lug, and measured it at 11.8 to 11.9 mm thick, in line with the brand.
The complaints were the K1 mineral crystal, which all three reviewers criticised, two of them saying they would rather have sapphire because mineral scratches more easily, and the supplied suede-style strap, which two reviewers said squeaks against the lugs and one said feels synthetic. The NH35 movement has a ghost date position on a dateless watch. One reviewer thought the hour hand was thin in the shaft and out of proportion. Reviewers do not agree on the original it follows: they name a Longines military watch, an early Jaeger-LeCoultre pilot watch and a British air ministry style, so the resemblance rests on the official images.
Good
- Cream freckles dial with baked-blue hands
- Compact 38.5 mm case with slim downturned lugs
- Large, well-finished signed crown
- Quick-release strap, 20 mm
- Case finishing in line with the brand's other watches
Less good
- K1 mineral crystal, not sapphire (criticised by all three reviewers)
- Supplied strap squeaks against the lugs (two reviewers)
- Ghost date position on a dateless watch
- Hour hand shaft looks thin to one reviewer
Known quality issues
Each reported by at least two independent sources.
- The supplied suede-style strap squeaks against the inside of the lugs when it moves, and does not stop after a few days of wear.
