Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score
Lug-to-lug is neither published nor measured for one of the two watches, so there is not enough data to score.

What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 8 reviews we read or watched, 4 of them with a watch supplied by the brand.
Reviewers liked the compact size, the plain legible dial, the drilled lugs, the screw-down crown and the smooth sweeping seconds of the quartz movement. Four reviewers who measured it found 36 mm across, about 45 mm lug to lug and 9.6 to 9.9 mm thick including the domed crystal, close to the brand's figures, and two found about 7 mm without the crystal.
The brand lists an 18 mm lug width; six reviewers put it at 20 mm and one measured 18 mm on his unit, and one reviewer warns that lug widths and crystals have changed between versions. One reviewer strongly recommends the sapphire crystal and another notes it is a small upgrade cost. One found sharp edges on the underside of the case and the inside of the lugs, which another did not. Reviewers describe the design as following the IWC Mark XI, with a quartz movement in place of the original's hand-wound one.
Good
- Compact 36 mm case, about 45 mm lug to lug
- Slim, about 9.6 to 9.9 mm including the domed crystal
- Plain legible dial with a lumed triangle at 12
- Drilled lugs and a screw-down crown
- Smooth sweeping-seconds quartz movement
- Sapphire crystal available for a higher price
Less good
- Lug width differs between the brand's 18 mm and reviewers' 20 mm measurements
- K1 crystal on the cheapest option
- Quartz movement where the original is hand-wound
- One reviewer found sharp underside case and lug edges
