Reviewers like the dial: the sunburst finish, the colour shift and the applied markers are praised in the reviews that discuss them. They also agree the watch is large for a cocktail-style dress watch. Three describe the size as too big, too tall or bigger than expected, while others found it wore comfortably on 6 to 7.25 inch wrists. Two reviewers say the seconds hand stops short of the minute track. Luminous paint is on the hands only and two reviewers judged it weak. Two note the crystal is mineral, not sapphire. The Seagull 2813 gets a mixed reception. One reviewer received a watch that would not run for more than a short time and then saw a seconds-hand stutter after repairing it. The other reviews did not report a fault.
