Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score
Lug-to-lug is neither published nor measured for one of the two watches, so there is not enough data to score.

What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 2 reviews we read or watched, 1 of them with a watch supplied by the brand.
Both reviewers liked the compact 38 mm case, the Miyota 90S5 movement, the 120-click ceramic bezel and the on-the-fly clasp. One reviewer, who had worn it for about a month, called the finishing excellent, with bevelled edges on the case and bracelet, a smooth and well-aligned bezel, bright BGW-X1 lume and a comfortable fit on a 17 cm wrist.
The complaints were small: there is no date window (the same reviewer found the dial cleaner without one), the bezel insert has no lume, and the caseback is plain with no display window. Only one of the two reviews was supplied by the brand.
Good
- Compact 38 mm case and 46.5 mm lug to lug
- Miyota 90S5 high-beat movement with hacking and hand winding
- Ceramic 120-click bezel
- On-the-fly clasp
- Four dial colours
- Bevelled edges on the case and bracelet (one reviewer)
Less good
- No helium valve, unlike the larger 42 mm version and the original
- No date, unlike the original
- Plain brushed caseback with no display window (one reviewer would have liked one)
- Bezel insert has no lume (one reviewer)
