Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score

What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 3 reviews we read or watched, 1 of them with a watch supplied by the brand.
Reviewers liked the S445's look and its finish. They praised the column-wheel ST1901 chronograph seen through the case back and the strong lume, including on the bezel, and said the watch works as a Tudor-style chronograph at a much lower cost. They also agreed it is only rated to 50 m, so it is not a diving watch despite the diver-style bezel.
Reviewers had two other complaints. Two said the supplied strap is barely long enough for a wrist near 8 inches, and a third found the Velcro strap low quality and a poor fit for a small wrist. One reviewer said the bidirectional 24-click bezel with its countdown scale is of little use on a chronograph.
Good
- Column-wheel ST1901 chronograph visible through the case back
- Strong BGW9 lume, including on the bezel
- Satin-brushed 316L case with a sapphire crystal
- Fixed lugs with a fabric strap, as on the original
- Two strong colourways with red accents
Less good
- Only 50 m water resistance despite diver styling
- Hand-wound, with a push-pull crown
- Supplied strap runs short for 8 inch wrists, and one reviewer found it low quality and loose on a small wrist
- Steel case, not the original's carbon composite
- Bezel has limited use on a chronograph per one reviewer
