Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score
Lug-to-lug is neither published nor measured for one of the two watches, so there is not enough data to score.

What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 4 reviews we read or watched.
Reviewers like the way the angular case flows into the integrated bracelet and rate the case finishing as good. The 120-click sapphire bezel is fully luminous and described as having little play, but two reviewers found the bezel teeth rough or sharp, and one also found sharp edges where the case meets the bracelet. The VH31 sweeping quartz with no date was liked by the reviewers who chose it, and the BGW9 lume is bright and lasts the night. They disagree on fit: one with a 6.25 inch wrist found it just too big, while others found the 41 mm case wears well. Their bracelets taper to about 18 mm, which matches the earlier batch (the listing says the new batch tapers to 16 mm and has a brushed bracelet edge and a riveted clasp logo), so remarks on the bracelet and clasp finish are left out.
Good
- Integrated bracelet flowing from an angular case, the layout of the original
- Sapphire crystal and sapphire bezel insert
- Sweeping VH31 quartz with no date on the no-date versions
- Bright lume, according to reviewers
- 200 m water resistance at 10.9 mm thick
Less good
- Bezel teeth are rough or sharp, according to two reviewers
- Sharp edges where the case meets the bracelet, according to one reviewer
- 41 mm case is larger than the 40 mm original, and one reviewer with a 6.25 inch wrist found it on the edge of too big
- Bracelet links are held by pins, so resizing needs a tool
- Quartz, not automatic
Known quality issues
Each reported by at least two independent sources.
- The teeth around the bezel are rough or sharp in places, which two reviewers noticed on their own units.
