About the original
Omega introduced the Planet Ocean 600M in 2005 as a professional-grade diver above the Seamaster Diver 300M, with a helium escape valve, broad arrow hands and an orange bezel that became its best-known feature. Second and third generations followed in 2011 and 2016.
The fourth generation, launched in 2025, goes back to a 42 mm case that is 13.79 mm thick and 47.5 mm lug-to-lug. It has a flat sapphire crystal, a titanium caseback, no helium valve, no date, the Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912 with a 60-hour reserve, and 600 m water resistance.
