What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 4 reviews we read or watched.
Reviewers who handled the PD-1679 describe a good-looking dial and case for the money, with a double-domed sapphire crystal that adds height. They agree it is thick, at about 15 to 16 mm, and large, at about 48 to 49 mm lug to lug, and they name a Seiko NH35A rather than the brand's listed Miyota 8215. Views on the rubber-and-fabric strap are split: two found it stiff, frayed or poor and two found it comfortable. One disliked the deployment clasp. The bezel is the weak point: reviewers report back play and a tinny feel, with half a click of back play on the newer version, and one saw a possible slight misalignment. One reviewer found no anti-reflective coating under the crystal.
