Why it scores as it does
Proportions and movement are computed from specs. Design details and functions are judged from the brand's official images. How we score

What reviewers and owners say
Reviewers
From 4 reviews we read or watched.
Reviewers agree the WD1969 is a compact, slim dive watch for the money. They give a case of about 38 mm, a lug-to-lug of 47 mm and a thickness of 11.5 to 11.8 mm, and say it sits well on wrists of 7 to 7.5 inches. The 120-click aluminum bezel is praised for firm, even clicks and exact alignment, with only slightly tinny clicks noted by one reviewer. The sapphire crystal is described as clear and the BGW9 lume as bright and long-lasting, and the crown is called well finished. Complaints are about small parts. One reviewer found the clasp edge sharp while another found no sharp edges on his sample, two reviewers found the quick-release spring-bar pins or screw heads sharp against the wrist, and one saw play in the clasp hinge pins. Reviewers also differ on the crystal, with two describing a double dome and one calling it flat. Two of the four reviews are from channels that sell through affiliate links; one of those reviewers says to assume his sample was sent free, and two reviewers say they bought theirs.

Known quality issues
