About the original
Tudor showed the 36 mm Heritage Black Bay, reference 79500, at Baselworld 2016. It shrinks the Black Bay look from 41 mm and drops the rotating bezel for a smooth fixed one. The snowflake hands come from Tudor's diver watches of 1969, and the dial recalls its 1950s divers.
The case is round steel with a flat sapphire crystal and 150 m water resistance, less than the 200 m of the larger Black Bay. It ran a modified ETA 2824 with a 38-hour power reserve. It came on a steel bracelet, a leather strap or a fabric strap. Tudor has since sold a newer 36 mm version with an in-house movement (reference M79640), which is not described here.
